Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary
Conduct sampling, sorting, measuring, and inspection of incoming components and finished products against blueprints and checklists. Label, segregate, and report items failing inspection requirements while preparing necessary inspection reports. Review blueprints to compare produced goods, determine defect causes, and write reports documenting deficiencies. Communicate inspection results to the department manager and offer corrective suggestions to ensure products meet customer expectations. Perform other duties as assigned. Requires 5 days a week (8am-5pm), 2+ years in quality control, and proficiency with measuring devices and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work 5 days a week – 8am-5pm.
- Must be able to read/write in English.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
- Ability to use measuring devices like calipers and measuring tape.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Control
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, twist, and turn for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
