Job Summary
QA/QC Inspector III for a medical devices site in Grecia, Costa Rica. Responsibilities include inspecting incoming materials, in-process and finished products to specifications, executing and documenting tests per established protocols, reviewing Device History Records for accuracy, generating NCRs, assisting with product returns inspections, inspecting labels and usage instructions, and coordinating in-process and final inspections with production in clean-room environments. Proficiencies in reading and interpreting drawings, using inspection tools (calibrators, pin calipers, tension equipment), and working within regulated quality documentation are required. Travel: None emphasized; role supports remote/alternate-work arrangements with potential for on-site presence as dictated by production needs. Requires secondary education completion, at least 5 years QA/QC experience, at least 3 years in medical devices, and basic English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachillerato de secundaria concluido
- 5+ years of experience in QA/QC
- at least 3 years in the medical devices industry
- basic English (reading/writing)
- experience reading and interpreting drawings
- experience using measurement/inspection tools
- experience with quality documentation (e.g., DHR, NCR) is desirable
- familiarity with controlled-regulated environments
- proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
