Quality Control Inspector III

Job Summary
Quality Control Inspector III responsible for executing Quality Control processes for purchased products and manufacturing operations, inspecting raw materials, components, PCB/PCBAs, cable assemblies, machined parts, subassemblies, and top assemblies; using calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and VMMs/CMMs; documenting inspection activities in electronic systems and logs; assisting in developing and updating inspection methods and plans; supporting root-cause analysis, corrective action, and 8D for nonconformances; analyzing data and reporting department metrics; driving day-to-day scheduling and continuous improvement initiatives; addressing audit findings and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB); collaborating with managers, engineers, and cross-functional personnel. Preference for aerospace/electronics experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or occupational training in a technical field. H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience or training required.
- Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with microscopic visual inspection.
- IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 certification.
- Experience with ERP and PLM software systems.
- Proficiency with reading engineering documents, CAD drawings, and detailed work instructions.
- Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner.
Additional Requirements
- U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee or refugee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
