Job Summary
Quality Control Inspector Lead responsible for performing incoming and in-process inspections across materials and production, with cross-functional coordination, issue escalation, and inspection readiness support. Serves as backup to QC Supervisors and supports inside-the-room quality tasks including cleanroom gowning verification, batch record audits, and procedural compliance monitoring. Key duties include PC and paper-based inspection documentation, SAP material status updates, NCMRs for non-conforming materials, sampling per approved procedures, AQL-based sampling plans, and communication of inspection results to Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams. Requires attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, familiarity with GMP/cleanroom environments, and experience with quality documentation and systems (e.g., SAP, batch records). Shift: Monday-Friday 10pm-6:30am; location: Waukegan, IL (US).
