Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector at IAP LLC is responsible for inspecting vehicles for damage or shortages upon arrival, during processing, and at allocation. Duties include documenting damages, reconciling survey results, conducting audits, inspecting installations and bodywork as per manufacturer specifications, and maintaining safety in the work environment. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid US Driver’s License, and the ability to obtain a TWIC Badge, along with physical capability to work in various conditions and perform inspections at heights.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
- Ability to drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using/operating a two-way radio and a Freon detector
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Ability to effectively communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Problem-solving abilities
- Detail oriented
