Job Summary
Inspect materials, components, assemblies, and production lines for conformance to requirements and drawing specifications. Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections of components and final products. Perform line or process audits to ensure product quality and conformity. Complete necessary paperwork, enter data into computer databases, and prepare inspection reports. Serve on related committees and participate in meetings as required. Must be located in the DFW area with up to 10% travel. Requires 1+ years of relevant experience and ability to use advanced inspection equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years relevant experience
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Must be capable of using basic dimensional inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc., as well as electronic test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Experience with advanced inspection equipment is required
- Computer literate in a Windows environment using PCs, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Able to comply with company attendance standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good oral and written business communication skills
- Must be located in the DFW area
- Up to 10% travel may be required
