Quality Control Inspector -First and Second Shift

Job Summary
Conduct inspections of parts in process and prior to shipment for conformance to customer drawings and internal requirements. Test components using calibrated assets such as multimeters and HIPOT testers while utilizing safe electrical practices and proper controls. Perform visual inspections per approved documentation and evaluate engineering drawings to identify nonconforming material. Escalate quality concerns to the Quality Control Supervisor and collaborate with other departments to ensure orders are fulfilled. Work in a professional manufacturing environment involving standard equipment like presses and soldering stations, with potential exposure to loud noises or fumes. Full-time hours Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM, with overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- PC literate with working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- IPC J-STD-001 for controlled soldering experience
- IPC/WHMA-1-620 for knowledge of controlled cable crimping and wire harness work
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Ability to perform essential functions satisfactorily including: talking, hearing, standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work in a professional manufacturing environment in a light industrial type setting
- Ability to work in an environment with exposure to loud noises or fumes
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM
- Ability to work overtime as required
