Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify adherence to quality, regulatory, and engineering specifications including HUD standards. Perform visual and measurement tests, document findings via inspection reports and checklists, and communicate rejections or required corrections to supervisors. Collaborate with production teams to identify quality improvements while maintaining a safe work environment by identifying safety standards and reporting concerns. Keep inspection equipment operational and maintain tools and work areas. Requires high school diploma, substantial manufacturing experience, ability to lift 40+ pounds, and reading schematics. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma
- Substantial experience in and clear understanding of the requirements and expectations across multiple production areas in a fabrication / manufacturing environment
- Experience reading and interpreting schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team, to be trained, and take direction
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in quality control Inspection
- Building code knowledge
- Ability to gain an understanding of construction manuals, standards, regulations, and specifications regarding the products
- Bilingual Spanish
