Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary
Perform hands-on inspection of machined and fabricated component parts using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to verify conformance, conducting first-article, in-process, and final inspections throughout the manufacturing cycle. Accurately document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions while collaborating with machinists and supervisors to resolve quality issues in real time. Support the maintenance of the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO and AS standards. Requires US citizenship, 18 years of age, and proficiency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment with direct inspection responsibility
- Strong working knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and specifications
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using basic computer systems for documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping
- Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
- 18 Years or Old
- Able to understand English (verbal and written)
- Punctuality
- Self-Motivated
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards preferred
