Job Summary
Quality Control Inspector ensures maintenance work and documentation are performed in an airworthy manner per approved data, and conducts incoming, in-process, and final inspections on aircraft and components to determine airworthiness and serviceability. Responsibilities include inspecting aircraft/components per customer request cards or manuals, documenting maintenance per FARs and CAMP, completing final buy-back, performing clearance-to-close and torque verifications, conducting return-to-service and airworthiness releases on serviceable tags and logbooks, auditing facilities for FAR/safety compliance, and performing other duties. Requires FAA A&P license and minimum three years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience; NDI and prior QC/leadership experience preferred; ability to learn RII requirements; familiarity with inspection tools and tolerances. Relocation assistance is available.
