Job Summary
Conduct inspections of incoming materials per engineering drawings, specifications, and Quality Inspection Plans. Review First Article Inspections (FAI) and perform manufacturing in-process and final inspections and testing as required. Collaborate with Assembly, Fabrication, Warehouse, and Engineering teams while assisting in test method development and proposing production process improvements. Support new product development activities and troubleshoot issues using measuring devices like gauges, calipers, and computers. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit for long periods, and read engineering drawings in a fast-paced start-up environment. Required Qualifications
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Must be motivated and work with minimal supervision in a start-up fast-paced environment
- Computer skills include Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), email, and other common programs
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Computer and math skills
- Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and computers
- In-depth understanding of company standards
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, unassisted
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
