Job Summary
Quality Control Inspector responsible for the performance of all quality functions related to FCFR construction activities for the Shoreline Power Group JV, including execution of Inspection and Test Plans, dimensional and visual welding inspections, hardness testing, PMI, review of Certified Material Test Reports, and documenting inspections. Participate in non-conformance tracking, corrective/preventive action requests, and cost-of-quality tracking. The role requires graduate secondary education in welding technology or related discipline, ASME/Nuclear/ISO9001/CWB experience (W178 Level 1 or 2 visual weld inspection preferred), and strong communication/organizational skills with MS Office proficiency. Project based in Kincardine, Ontario, with a focus on quality within a nuclear-qualified environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate secondary school education in welding technology, QA/QC or related discipline at a University or College level
- W178 Level 1 or 2 Visual Weld inspection (preferred)
- ASME Code, B&PV plus Nuclear/ ISO 9001 and CWB experience
- Previous experience in receiving inspections and controls within a Nuclear Qualified Warehouse and Clean Room would be considered an asset
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Computer literate in MS Office
