Job Summary
Perform product inspections and approval activities according to established procedures and specifications, checking manufactured parts for dimensional, visual, and other quality requirements. Identify, document, and coordinate the disposition of non-conforming material while reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and written work instructions. Communicate quality concerns to production employees, setup personnel, supervisors, and other appropriate personnel to help prevent defective products from continuing through the manufacturing process. Maintain an organized and accurate approach to inspection activities while following established safety, quality, and company procedures. Work Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM as part of a 4-day workweek where Friday through Sunday are off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of inspection techniques, procedures, and measuring methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and written work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to identify and communicate product quality concerns.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with production employees, setup personnel, supervisors, and management.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned 2nd-shift schedule.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous quality control or manufacturing inspection experience preferred.
