Job Summary
Verify products and materials throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet rigorous quality and safety standards. Inspect incoming raw materials, monitor production quality, and check outgoing products by measuring dimensions, testing functionality, and comparing samples to specifications. Approve or reject materials and finished goods based on quality standards while maintaining testing records and internal documents. Ensure proper quality procedures are followed and monitor equipment safety and calibration. Perform other duties as assigned by Quality management.
Required Qualifications
- Able to read blueprints and work instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
- Good written skills to verify records accurately
- One to three years of related to quality experience
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- Able to effectively use handheld measurement equipment (caliper, micrometer, attribute gauges) as well as non-contact measurement equipment (microVu, comperator, smartScope)
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- High School Diploma
- Basic mathematic and English skills
- Eye protection is required in production areas
- Ability to lift 30lb
