Job Summary
Quality Control Inspector, 2nd Shift: Perform first article inspection, final and in process testing, and gage calibration to customer and design requirements; develop and enforce GMP systems; generate and maintain quality documentation and test plans; read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints; communicate findings to shop-floor personnel; and participate in training opportunities. Eligible for 2nd shift differential. Requires proficiency with Micrometers, Calipers, Thread & Pin Gauges, Surface Plates and Height Gauges, data entry, and Microsoft Office; ability to read procedures and standards; experience in ISO 9001/AS9100 environments preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Visual and Mechanical Inspection of manufactured components using, but not limited to, Micrometers, Calipers, Thread & Pin Gauges, Surface Plates and Height Gauges required
- High School Diploma and a minimum of one (1) to five (5) years of related Quality Control experience required
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with colleagues and departmental leadership required
- Evaluating Certificate of Conformance validity for material and/or special process preferred
- Processing First Article Inspections preferred
- Experience working in an ISO 9001/AS9100 certified manufacturing environment preferred
