Job Summary
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished products using functional gauges, Micro-Vu systems, and optical comparators to ensure compliance with customer specifications and work orders. Operate precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines to assess product quality. Complete accurate inspection records, checklists, and documentation on Shop Travelers while identifying and isolating non-conforming products. Collaborate with peers and other departments to maintain regulatory compliance under ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 standards. This role requires proficiency in GD&T, blueprint reading, and mathematical aptitude. Join a growing team designing advanced medical devices that improve patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Foundational knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Knowledge of inspection methodologies
- Demonstrated mathematical aptitude
- Ability to manage units of measure
- Ability to manage fractions
- Ability to manage decimals
- Ability to manage whole numbers
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 13485
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements like 21 CFR 820
- Effective communication skills
