Job Summary
Perform visual and mechanical inspection of materials, LRUs, parts, and assemblies against design drawings and process procedures. Review documentation from suppliers and customers, reconcile material handling transactions, and maintain historical shipment data. Act as an authorized delegate for IFE customers or regulatory agencies when requested. Process orders in SAP, manage packing and shipping, create export documentation, and develop continuous process improvement plans. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with potential shift work. Contract duration is one year, renewable based on business requirements. Located at Changi.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of using measuring equipment (Height gauge, Vernier caliper, Smartscope)
- Understand how to read design drawings (size tolerance or geometric tolerance
- Basic knowledge of SAP transactions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Willing to support overtime occasionally on evenings and/or weekends
- May be required to work in shifts when necessary
