Job Summary
Measure and visually inspect material at receiving, production cutting, assembly, packaging, storage, and shipping points to ensure customer quality requirements are met. Record measurements and critical data in appropriate formats, identifying acceptable tolerances according to prints and documents. Stop operations and notify management upon discovering nonconformances, then assist in investigating quality issues and implementing corrective measures. Prepare required reports and correspondence as needed. This role supports the manufacturing process within UFP Industries, a global leader with over 65 years of profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma/GED
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of management or quality assurance experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
