Job Summary
Quality Control Group Leader on 2nd Shift responsible for guiding and communicating work to employees, monitoring group quality and performance against work instructions and data card requirements, assisting the Ops Leader with staffing efficiency, maintaining calibration and condition of measuring instruments, administering product quality and safety programs, managing necessary paperwork, and identifying training needs and opportunities. The role emphasizes leadership, quality assurance, safety, and collaboration, with a base pay of $30/hour plus 10% shift differential for second shift, and requires a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years Metem/3+ years Quality in manufacturing, and ability to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 5 years Metem experience and/or 3 years Quality in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm)
- Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Good communication skills, ability to follow written instructions and take and provide verbal instructions for multiple tasks in a manufacturing shop environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of Quality, Safety, Shop computer systems and Shop Support Requirements
- Demonstrated Organizational and Leadership Skills
- Ability to work overtime as required including occasional weekend shift
