Job Summary
Quality Control Engineer / Automotive role focusing on IATF 16949 compliance, root-cause investigations, and continuous quality improvement. Partners with engineering, production, and customers to ensure product quality, lead investigations into customer complaints, and drive corrective actions and preventive measures. Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field, Automotive quality experience, GD&T/CMM expertise, PPAP/PFMEA/8D-5Why proficiency, and strong communication skills for customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Experience in automotive quality engineering or quality control.
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 standards.
- Proficiency in GD&T and CMM inspection processes.
- Experience with PPAP, control plans, and PFMEA.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis using 8D and 5-Why methodologies.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and software.
- Strong communication skills with experience in customer interaction.
