Job Summary
Oversee and maintain an ISO 9002 certified quality management system, implement continual quality improvement efforts, and monitor product workflow to ensure customer satisfaction. Develop effective quality control processes by understanding customer needs, reviewing specifications, and creating changes to reduce costs. Inspect final output and fabrication work against requirements, perform periodic quality checks, and identify deviations from quality standards. Collaborate with production and project managers to discuss quality issues, train staff in proper practices, and analyze operational reports to detect problems. Comply with ISO accreditation and safety regulations while working in conjunction with the production department to achieve accurate quality assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 3 yrs experience maintaining certified ISO 9001 QMS
- Minimum 2 yrs experience working in a production environment or similar experience
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
