Job Summary
Quality Control & Automation Engineer at ABB in Türkiye (Kocaeli). Lead inspection plan execution, coordinate with responsible personnel to complete inspections and FATs, ensure strict adherence to inspection plans for product quality, document inspection/testing records, and maintain the Test Report Database. Improve testing processes, tools, and equipment to enhance efficiency and product quality. Provide technical support and implement maintenance for test facilities and measuring equipment. Organize or participate in quality improvement activities, investigate and address customer complaints, and ensure safe, orderly testing operations with ongoing 6S practices. Requires a Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, 3-5 years of experience (site installation & commissioning preferable), strong English and Turkish communication skills, and expertise in LV switchgear testing/commissioning, IEC 61850/Goose, and substation automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree major in Electrical Engineering
- Min 3-5 years experience in same field
- Site installation & commissioning experience preferable
- Good communication skills in English (written & spoken); Turkish is a must
- Good testing and commissioning skills of LV switchgear including Protection Relay Configurations and IEC 61850/Goose
- Solid knowledge of substation automation control systems, electrical power systems, protection engineering
- Ability to use secondary test equipment; basic SAP skills advantageous
- MS Office proficiency
