Job Summary
Animal Care Associate at Elanco responsible for leading and assisting in routine poultry vaccine testing procedures and daily care of chickens and turkeys, maintaining regulatory-ready facilities, and ensuring compliance with USDA regulations. Tasks include animal husbandry, environmental monitoring (temperature, water, etc.), meticulous record-keeping, drafting and reviewing SOPs, and supporting the Site Veterinarian in auditing facilities to safeguard bird welfare. Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and flexibility to adapt to evolving animal welfare protocols are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in animal care, farming, or a regulated production environment
