Job Summary
Conduct linguistic and quality checks on subtitles, closed captions, and audio descriptions to identify and correct errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, timing, and formatting. Create and edit localized content while ensuring all deliverables comply with client and in-house style guides. Provide clear, constructive feedback and support the training and development of team members to maintain high-quality standards and meet project deadlines. This role is based in Mylapore, Chennai, with weekend availability for movie releases.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in localization, subtitling, or linguistic quality control
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong familiarity with US and UK English accents, dialects, and colloquialisms
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong linguistic judgment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks
- Work-from-office role based in Mylapore, Chennai
- Weekend work may be required based on movie release schedules
