Job Summary
Review documentation to understand testing requirements, environments, and objectives. Translate needs into detailed test cases and execute tests across web-based desktop and mobile platforms. Evaluate results, report findings, and conduct peer reviews of other team members' test cases. Maintain and improve team standards and best practices while communicating status updates to the group. Collaborate with both onshore and offshore team members using SQL knowledge and technical documentation. Complete at least one in-person interview as part of the hiring process.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience working as a QA Tester
- Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effectively collaborate and coordinate with both onshore and offshore team members
- Experience testing web-based applications on desktops and mobile devices
- SQL knowledge
- Positive attitude
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation
- Ability to think abstract outside the box
- Passionate about product success
- Must be able to complete at least one in-person interview as part of the hiring process
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (preferred)
- Experience and understanding of agile development life cycle
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology related field (preferred)
- Prior Health IT experience (a plus)
- Insurance claims experience (a plus)
- Prior experience with EDI transactions (a plus)
