Job Summary
Execute testing as per methods, SOPs, cGMP guidelines, and client requirements, ensuring complete documentation and timely entry into the Laboratory Information System. Prioritize and schedule daily work to maintain efficient workflows, while immediately reporting testing failures and assisting in investigations. Conduct instrument calibrations, preventive maintenance, and prepare volumetric solutions and mobile phases, recording all findings in standardized formats. Perform additional lab duties and update supervisors on status, maintaining analyst notebooks and equipment in good order. Extended hours and shift work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. Chemistry or relevant field
- 1-3 years experience with demonstrated ability to complete more complex role/duties
- Experience testing with HPLC
- Experience testing with GC
- Experience testing with Dissolution
- Experience testing with Thermometer
- Experience testing with Oven
- Hand/Eye coordination
- Ability to stand out
- Ability to think outside the box
- Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner
- Proficiency in using Word
- Proficiency in using Excel
- Proficiency in using PowerPoint
- Proficiency in using Outlook
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Authorization to work in Canada
