Job Summary
Conduct routine testing for ELISA, immunoassays, bioburden, Western Blot, endotoxin, and sterility on raw materials and finished biological products. Analyze and record testing data while maintaining an accurate electronic database of sample submissions and final dispositions. Perform clean room environmental monitoring, water system sampling, and weekly preventative maintenance on calibrated equipment. Document technical problems, produce control charts for trend analysis, and adhere to cGMP and ISO standards. Assist with corrective actions following internal and external audits while keeping the QC lab audit-ready.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science or related field
- 1-2 years related experience
- An understanding of immunoassays
- Ability to work on problems of simple scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate technical problems in a clear, concise manner
- Action oriented
- Able to take initiative to perform routine tasks without being asked
- Experience with Microsoft Software (Word, Excel, Office)
- Basic mathematical skills
- Good organizational skills
- Sharp attention to detail
- Positive team player
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Skilled in performing ELISA's
- Previous experience with automated chemistry analyzers and immunoanalyzers
