Job Summary
Quality Control Analyst- GAS Operations supports the QC program across gas distribution activities (construction, maintenance, meter service, leak survey, corrosion, damage prevention, LNG and I&R) and ensures work complies with federal, state, and company standards. The role verifies work is performed by qualified personnel, marks out ticket and mapping information, monitors re-dig program resources, supports contractor onboarding and Operator Qualification compliance, identifies non-compliant conditions and recommends corrective actions, and documents inspection results. The position may support ERP-related tasks and, when required, assist during ERP or Work Continuation events. Occasional travel within MA/CT/NH and field audits are required; attendance at emergency restoration is possible. The role requires strong technical writing and oral communication skills and proficiency with MS Office. Willingness to work in both office and field environments; safety-focused with adherence to Health and Safety Handbook and Contractor Safety Manual. Compensation is salary-based, with a range of $95,600–$106,220, and eligibility for a potential incentive. Eversource is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, related discipline or equivalent experience
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in gas distribution, utility or technical experience preferred
- Must be familiar with MS Office suite and could adapt to other PC based software tools
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, related discipline or equivalent experience
- Licenses & Certifications: Will be expected to become Eversource Operator Qualified
- Safety-sensitive position with drug testing
