Job Summary
Conduct inspections and testing of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry regulations. Prepare detailed QA/QC reports, manage project records, and investigate non-conformance issues while recommending corrective actions. Collaborate with engineering, project management, and field teams to resolve quality-related problems and support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide training to field teams on quality standards and documentation practices. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 2–5 years of QA/QC experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Ability to work independently on active construction sites, lift up to 50 pounds, and travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC, construction, or mechanical systems environments.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, CAPA).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and related QA/QC software systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work on active construction sites and in varying environmental conditions.
- Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Availability to travel as required to project sites or vendor locations.
