Quality Control Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct inspections and testing of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry regulations. Prepare detailed QA/QC reports, manage project documentation, and investigate non-conformance issues while recommending corrective actions. Collaborate with project management, engineering, and field teams to resolve quality-related problems and support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide training to field teams on quality standards and ensure all work aligns with company safety policies. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or QA, 2–5 years of experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Ability to work independently on active construction sites with travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC, construction, or mechanical systems environments
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Familiarity with quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, CAPA)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and related QA/QC software systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work on active construction sites and in varying environmental conditions
- Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Availability to travel as required to project sites or vendor locations
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
