Job Summary
Conduct daily quality control inspections across production lines, verifying weights, torques, and packaging accuracy against label claims and standards. Perform hygiene swabs on all lines, monitor contamination levels, and alert supervisors when thresholds are exceeded. Maintain written records of inspection results, pull retain and micro samples as instructed, and submit them to outside laboratories via completed forms. Ensure all fill instructions and BOMs are followed correctly while maintaining professional dress and conduct. Perform any additional assignments directed by the Quality Manager. Shifts run Monday through Saturday from 7am to 3:30pm or 3:30pm to 12am.
Required Qualifications
- Disciplined and professional code of conduct
- Professional dressing
- Ability to read BOM and fill instructions
- Ability to ensure product is processed correctly
- Ability to inspect weights of finished goods against label claim
- Ability to inspect torques of finished goods against required standards
- Ability to perform Hygiene Swabs on production lines
- Ability to alert responsible parties when contamination levels are unacceptable
- Ability to inspect proper packaging
- Ability to verify counts of finished goods
- Ability to confirm accuracy and completion of pallet tags
- Ability to maintain written records of inspection results
- Ability to pull retain and micro samples as instructed
- Ability to facilitate sample collection for customers
- Ability to fill out sample submission forms
- Ability to deliver samples to pickup area in time for daily pickup
- Ability to perform assignments directed by Quality Manager
- Availability for 1st shift (Monday – Saturday 7am to 3:30pm)
- Availability for 2nd shift (3:30pm to 12am)
- Location in or near Beford Park area
