Job Summary
Monitor production processes and parameters to ensure compliance with recipes, performing routine inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Conduct root cause analyses on quality defects and customer complaints while documenting deviations using iQMS and Cereboro. Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to implement corrective actions and support the Bakery Quality Manager in preparing for BRC audits. Actively participate in daily Quality Huddles to collect samples and analyze data using Six Sigma methodologies. Verify sanitation procedures, enforce allergen controls, and ensure adherence to HACCP and food safety regulations. Obtain a Green Belt in Six Sigma within one year.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance, continuous improvement, or a related role in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking to conduct root cause analysis effectively
- Ability to analyze production data and generate actionable insights
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and industry best practices
- Experience with quality management software, data analytics tools, and automation systems
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams

Desired Qualifications
