Job Summary
Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager responsible for leading the AS9100-based QMS while driving operational excellence across internal operations and customer engagements. The role blends quality management leadership with business process improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and related methodologies. The candidate will facilitate AS9100 audits, lead value stream mapping workshops, coach teams on improvement techniques, and help customers identify opportunities to improve performance. This highly visible role collaborates with multiple functions and supports both operations and customer success; it requires managing audits, NCRs/CARs, corrective actions, and continual improvement activities, plus developing performance metrics and improvement roadmaps. The position notes export-control considerations and requires US Persons or government authorization; no sponsorship is offered.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working within an ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar Quality Management System environment
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, or similar methodologies
- Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills
- Experience analyzing business processes and identifying improvement opportunities
- Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functional areas
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and training skills
- Strong critical thinking, systems thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Comfortable engaging with employees, leadership teams, customers, and auditors
