Quality Compliance Support Specialist

Job Summary
Maintain and update compliance records, quality documentation, and regulatory filings in the company's document management system. Accurately enter compliance and quality data into ERP and QMS systems, reconcile data to identify gaps, and compile status reports and KPI dashboards for management review. Support coordination of internal and external audits by preparing documentation packages and tracking corrective and preventive action items to ensure timely closure. Liaise with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to gather compliance data and communicate deadlines to internal stakeholders. This role supports adherence to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards within the automotive sector.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative, data entry, or compliance support role within the automotive or manufacturing industry
- Working knowledge of automotive quality standards including IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with QMS or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, IATF-compliant QMS platforms)
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in data entry tasks
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced regulated environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field
- Familiarity with AIAG core tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC
- Experience supporting customer-specific requirements (Ford Q1, GM BIQS, Stellantis, etc.)
- Knowledge of IMDS (International Material Data System) and substance of concern (SOC) compliance
- Prior exposure to IATF 16949 internal audits or supplier development activities
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or equivalent certification
