Job Summary
Visually inspect finished units to ensure conformance to product specifications and engineering requirements using CheckMate, assembly drawings, and production checklists. Adhere required labels including ETL listings, name plates, and wiring diagrams, then perform final cleaning and secure all doors and uninstalled items. Document serial numbers, address Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) by correcting minor issues or escalating major ones to process owners, and verify all corrections are closed in ETQ. Secure final inspection stickers and ensure all water circuits are drained and breakers are off before shipping. Maintain clean work areas, operate safety equipment including forklifts and scales, and participate in meetings to communicate issues and resolve problems.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs
- Must be able to push with up to 120 lbs of force
- Must be able to pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach
- Must be able to wear Safety Glasses – ANSI Z87.1
- Must be able to wear Gloves – ANSI Cut 3 4544
- Must be able to wear Chemical Gloves – Nitrile
- Must be able to wear Foot Protection, Steel Toe – ASTM F2413-11
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a background check
