Quality Auditor Night Shift

Job Summary
Input quality attributes and monitor product quality throughout the production process while collecting, evaluating, and documenting daily samples. Communicate quality concerns, trends, and issues with Production personnel and leadership. Promote a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with all PPE requirements and provide departmental coverage as needed. Maintain accurate quality records and documentation, demonstrating proficiency in hide brand sortation. Participate in cross-training to become proficient in all Quality Assurance functions and perform additional duties as assigned. This safety-sensitive, on-site role requires availability for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery
- Two to five years of manufacturing experience in a tannery or a previous Quality Assurance position
- Manual dexterity
- Availability to work all shifts, flexible hours, flexible days/evenings to include weekends and holidays
- Conceptual/Analytical thinking
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Self-motivated and self-starter
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of various quality aspects
- Ability to lift hides up to 100#
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
