Job Summary
Conduct pre-operative sanitation audits, daily housekeeping checks, and bacteriological swabbing of equipment and environmental surfaces to ensure compliance with USDA regulations and Kraft Heinz policies. Perform hourly weight control checks, residual oxygen analysis, seal strength testing, and finished product case audits using specialized equipment like Mocon analyzers and vacuum chambers. Coordinate corrective actions for production holds, verify metal detector integrity, and document all findings on component complaint logs. Work the 1st shift (6 AM–2:30 PM) in a fast-paced food processing facility in Avon, NY, while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and sanitation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work on all shifts, cover vacations, weekends and Holidays
- A Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be safety and quality orientated
- Must demonstrate adaptability
- Must be willing to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment
- Must be willing to supply improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility
- Must be able to stand up to 12 hours a day
- Must be able to lift/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. including overhead work
- Must be able to perform repetitive motion with hands
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to twist
- Must be able to squat
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments (Lunchables 40 degrees F, Cool Whip 90 degrees/ -35 degrees F, Cold Storage 0 degrees F)
- Must be able to work in loud environments over 85 decibels
- Must be able to follow the Kraft Heinz Safety Process
- Must be able to keep themselves and others away from harm while performing their duties
- Must be able to adhere to LOTO policy and procedures
