Job Summary
Audit product and determine if it meets established specifications, including incoming raw material inspections and finished product reviews. Perform physical testing, inspection, and auditing of processes for correct methods and materials using lab equipment and saws. Record audit results, Certificate of Analysis data, and product dimensions into the computer database while reporting label accuracy. Train production employees on correct work procedures and materials. Fill in for the Quality Technician as needed and lift foam weighing up to 50 pounds. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 15:30pm at the Conover, NC manufacturing plant.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer knowledge and the ability to use computerized equipment in daily operations
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must have the ability to read and interpret a tape measure
- Must be able to lift and maneuver foam weighing 50 pounds
- Ability to learn to use lab equipment and operate a vertical cutting saw
