Quality Auditor - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Perform product verification and release as a delegated representative under customer self-release programs, interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and process requirements. Ensure compliance with customer requirements for PWC, Rolls-Royce, and GE, while maintaining certification under AS13001 (DPVR/DQR). Review manufacturing records for completeness and accuracy, interface with customers regarding product acceptance and quality issues, and support audits related to delegated release programs. Participate in root cause and corrective action for product nonconformance. This role is based in Warren, MI, reporting to the Quality Manager, and requires a valid US Passport.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Associate degree (desirable)
- 5 + years of equivalent experience in a Quality Inspection / Auditor role
- AS13001 Certification Common Training for DPVR
- Experience working with ISO 9001 & AS 9100, Aerospace OEM Customer-Specific Requirements
- Experience using Microsoft Office. Focus on Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience interfacing with internal customers, external customers, and external third-party auditors
- Demonstrated strong communication skills
- Must have a valid US Passport

- Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) experience
