Job Summary
Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues, documenting corrective, root cause, and preventative actions while ensuring GMPs are followed. Monitor and implement HACCP system activities, verifying package/label integrity, accuracy, and adherence to product specifications. Perform high-level quality control inspections and verifications across all facility areas, including pens and the processing floor, with full attention to detail in data and sample collection. Work 100% on the plant floor during the 2nd shift (4:30pm–11:30pm, Mon–Fri, some Saturdays) for 40–50 hours per week, managing pre-operational sanitation and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Be available to work/lead pre-operational sanitation (4:30am start time)
- Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Be detailed and organized
- Strong attention to detail; data and sample collection, accuracy in paperwork
- Good decision making and reasoning skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of organization
- Be able to monitor all areas of facility, including pens/processing floor
- 2nd Shift 1:45pm - 11:30pm
- 40-50 Hours per week
