Quality Assurance Technician

Job Summary
Quality Technician responsible for testing, inspecting, and documenting product quality to ensure materials meet specifications. Duties include quality-related testing and inspections, reporting, setups, filing, preparing and inspecting samples from rolled products for dimensions and weight, operating tensile testing and bending test equipment, identifying non-conforming materials, entering test results and inventory data, and maintaining a clean work area. Requires reading measuring instruments, basic Word/Excel skills, and physical ability to work on the production floor with PPE (steel-toe boots provided).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read and use measuring instruments accurately
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Steel toe boots required for work on the production floor
- All other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided
- Strong attendance, reliability, and flexibility to meet business needs
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to perform physical job duties including climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
