Job Summary
Quality Assurance Technician conducts QA audits of beverage production to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards (FSMA, SQF, Kosher, Organic) and maintains product integrity. Responsible for GMPs, safety, equipment operation (HPLC, pH meters, refractometer, densitometer, etc.), data entry, retention sampling, process line checks, defect segregation, allergen testing, packaging and quality inspections, and participation in Quality Management System programs. Requires English proficiency (Spanish a plus); no travel; shift 6 pm–6:30 am on a 2/2/3 schedule; Indianapolis, IN. Education up to high school or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred; 1-year manufacturing experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree, General Education Degree (G.E.D.) or Equivalent., required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science related field preferred.
- 1-year relevant experience preferably in Production or Manufacturing environment, preferred
- Food or Beverage industry experience is a plus.
