Job Summary
Quality Assurance Technician responsible for performing manual and automated tests, maintaining calibrated equipment, and ensuring compliance with ISO/IATF quality programs and regulations. Will conduct 1st off and last off inspections, GRR, and secondary inspections in an injection molding and painting environment, enforce SOPs, and utilize QA tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC). Requires proficiency with computers and strong communication skills; must be detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities and ability to operate forklift and crane. This role is full-time with afternoon shifts and located in Oldcastle, Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Full-time
- 3 years of experience in quality assurance or similar role
- Knowledge of Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
- Experience with first-off and last-off inspections, GRR, and secondary inspection
- Experience in an injection molding environment and painting environment
- Experience with plastic part gauge fixtures
- Experience writing and enforcing SOPs
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem solving
- Capability to operate heavy equipment such as forklift and crane
