Job Summary
Quality Assurance Technician responsible for textile testing, process monitoring, wash system chemistry checks, regulated waste management, data entry, and microbiological/effluent testing to ensure textiles meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Job includes conducting textile testing (new product specs, spot checks), monitoring wash systems, titration checks, maintaining compliance with TRSA Hygienically Clean standards, and maintaining detailed records across QC activities. Requires familiarity with LinenMaster, MS Office, and E-Tech; bilingual Spanish a plus; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform required lifting, walking, standing, and climbing as part of daily duties.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of basic chemistry principles such as pH, water hardness, and the ability to titrate solutions to find the concentrations of wash chemicals.
- Ability to learn and have working knowledge of LinenMaster, Microsoft Office Suite and E-Tech software.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent problem solving, writing, communication & people skills.
- Ability to withstand walking, standing & climbing stairs, pushing and pulling full carts of linen.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 Pounds.
