Job Summary
Conduct micro testing of pasteurized mix and microbiology/allergen tests for So Delicious and Plant 3 samples to ensure compliance. Verify ingredients and packaging at startup and throughout production runs, while performing hourly line checks including metal detector validations and sample collections. Issue non-conformance holds and dispositions on material and finished product, and assist in data management by documenting results on paper and computer files. Complete document reviews of QA and production paperwork to ensure accuracy. Work Sunday through Wednesday from 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in food science, Biochemistry, or a related field
- Associate's degree in food science, Biochemistry, or a related field and a minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience
- Minimum of five (5) years' relevant work experience
- knowledge of laboratory practices and procedures
- demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
- demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, communicate clearly, and coordinate efforts around process improvement
- demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
- Grave Shift: Sunday – Wednesday (10:00 PM – 8:30 AM)
