Job Summary
Quality Control Inspector responsibilities include inspecting incoming materials and parts, testing throughout the manufacturing process, and performing final inspections prior to shipment using gauges, scales, and vision systems. The role involves generating spreadsheets for data collection, recording data in the MRP system, and reconciling final inspection documentation. Collaboration with quality inspectors, production team members, and management to identify non-conforming products and participate in root-cause analysis for defects. Maintain a safe and clean work environment and participate in PPS activities as directed by Supervisors. Requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read/write/speak English, basic Microsoft Word/Excel, blueprint reading and measurement tool skills, and physical ability to stand/walk, sit, lift up to 20 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English language
- Basic level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement tool skills
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to use hands and fingers
