Quality Assurance Technician -CMM Operator

Job Summary
Perform dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) per prints and specifications, applying GD&T principles to complete detailed part inspections. Review and analyze CMM reports while collaborating with setup personnel to address adjustments, and conduct inspections using hand gauges and other measurement systems. Maintain accurate inspection and calibration records, perform random audits of documentation and production processes, and assist with control system checks. Work independently on the 3rd shift (11pm-7am) in a fast-paced CNC manufacturing environment, ensuring precision and consistency as we machine castings into blueprint-ready components.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing or machining environment
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to work independently on 3rd shift while collaborating with production teams
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and safety
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced CNC manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Solid math skills, including geometry and trigonometry is a plus
- CMM programming experience (CMM Manager or CMES) is a plus
