Quality Assurance Technician

Job Summary
Conduct routine line checks, perform weigh scale and metal detection inspections, and interpret quality assurance standards to ensure finished product quality. Enforce cGMP and Food Safety Policies while inspecting sub-component materials and coordinating non-conforming product issues. Participate in the pest control program and drive continuous improvement of internal programs. This 3rd shift role requires a self-motivated candidate with at least two years of manufacturing experience, MS Office proficiency, and Pest Control certification. CCB Packaging, a locally owned packaging leader, seeks a detail-oriented individual to solve problems independently within a cross-functional team.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and planning skills
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to solve problems and make decisions both independently and within a cross-functional team
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Must be detail-oriented and able to complete assigned tasks within a specified period of time
- A high school diploma or GED
- minimum of 2 years' experience in a primary or secondary manufacturing/packaging environment
- Must be Pest Control certified or able to become certified within 12 months from hire date
- The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment testing
