Job Summary
Conduct assembly process and product audits, providing on-the-spot feedback and training to operators while creating records of findings and corrective action status reports. Perform product evaluation testing using complex equipment and software, supporting Quality Engineers with pre- and post-condition evaluation reports. Assist in developing audit plans, participating in business process audits and cross-functional continuous improvement activities with operations and value stream engineering teams. Respond to operators needing assistance with test methods or measurements and adhere to audit schedules to notify stakeholders of updates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associates degree in a technical field
- 2 years technical training
- 2 years related experience in machine shop
- 2 years related experience in mechanical assembly
- 2 years related experience in optical assembly
- 2 years related experience in optical systems and components
- Good written communication skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- User knowledge of Microsoft computer software products
- User knowledge of Excel
- User knowledge of Word
- User knowledge of Outlook
- Training in Internal auditing
- Training in Root cause analysis
- Training in Corrective and preventive action
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Must be a U.S. citizen or person lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must complete an INS Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9)
