Quality Assurance Technician 2 - Testing & QMS

Quality Assurance Technician 2 – Testing & QMS conducts audits, provides results and status of corrective actions, and trains operators on quality tools and processes. Performs product evaluation testing and participates in continuous improvement with cross-functional teams (quality, operations, value stream engineering). Supports development of assembly process and product audit plans, conducts audits, and creates records of audit results and status of corrective actions. Follows procedures, sets up and operates complex test equipment, and assists Quality Engineers with performance test results and evaluation reports. Requires a high school diploma or GED; associates degree in a technical field or 2 years of technical training with 2 years related experience in machine shop, mechanical/ optical assembly, or optical systems; ASQ/CQT is a plus. Proficient in written/verbal communication and Microsoft Office; training in internal auditing and root cause analysis is desired. Willingness to participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities; manufacturing environment in Beaverton, Oregon.
